Introduction to K-12 Academics at MIT International School
MIT International School was first established in 2004 in the Philippines as an ESL Universal Institute, offering ESL (English as a Second Language) tutorials to Filipinos and non-Filipinos. Three years later, it expanded its offer from non-formal education to formal education, stretching its arms to both elementary and secondary learners. MITIS aims to build an outstanding international reputation by carefully and intricately balancing sound tradition for academic excellence with innovative approaches to teaching, learning and expanding technology in a compact learning environment.
At MITIS, learning does not stop with academics but encompasses social, emotional and moral development. We offer a well-rounded educational program for our students to excel and lead well-rounded quality lives inside and outside of the classrooms.
