Introduction to MITIS International School (K-12)
The MIT International School (MITIS) welcomes learners (K-12) from different backgrounds and engages each child to attain his/her full potential in a challenging intellectual and genuinely caring environment under the tutelage of well-trained and dedicated teachers.
The MIT International School offers an integrated curriculum rich with values-oriented, inquiry-based, developmentally appropriate, and hands-on learning experiences. Strong emphasis is given to proficiency in mathematics and oral and written English. Special place is given to the lively appreciation of music, painting, dance, and other arts.
The school promotes actively among its students and all its stakeholders the core values of Solidarity, Truth, Respect, Integrity, Perseverance,
Excellence, and Service (STRIPES).
MITIS is a K-12 international school. It is open for enrolment in Grade 1 to Grade 12 for School Year 2011 - 2012. Classes start on August 3, 2011.
In view of its learner-centered goals, MITIS sets admission policies and procedures not to screen out applicants but to determine if it can support the needs of each child.
