A group of students and school staff visited Cupang Elementary School (Annex) last December  9 to make a modest donation of audio-visual equipment in the spirit of the Christmas season  

      The school is located in a depressed area in Barangay Cupang in Muntinlupa City and is being considered by MITIS as a beneficiary of continuing assistance in-line with the Adopt-a-School Program of the government. 

      On hand to receive the donation was  the school principal, Mrs. Manuea Opalla, who expressed her deep appreciation for the MITIS expression of support. 

      The proposed adoption is part of the school’s continuing expression of social responsibility for the benefit of poor families in local communities.  Presently, MITIS has granted 20 full scholarships to deserving students enrolled in different grade levels. 

      The student representatives in the gift-giving were Hyung, Junwoo (Peter), Adrian Joseph Silva, Dong, Kyu Hyung (Tommy), Kim, Dae Un (Addrick), Cho, Yong Min (M), Jeong, Ha Jun (Aaron), and Kim, Beom Jin (Jin). The students thanked Mrs. Opalla for welcoming them to her school. 

      The students were accompanied by school officials Ms. Charlene Salvador, Fr. Mervyn Marcelino, and Ms. Josephine Camacho.
