On March 17, MIT International School and Doshisha University signed Agreement on Admission upon Recommendation. MITIS students can now enroll at Doshisha University based on recommendation letter from MIT International School, a designated school of Doshisha University.
Established in 1875, Doshisha University is recognized as the best private university in Kansai area of Japan and as Top 3 Private University in Japan. With no less than 27,000 students, Doshisha University is also renowned for its state-of-the-art facility and three beautiful campuses.
Doshisha University provides exchange student program with top universities including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, U-Penn, Williams College, Wellesley College, University of British Columbia, Seoul National University, etc. The courses open for international students instructed in English are English, Philosophy, Cultural History, Aesthetics, Japanese Literature, Sociology, Social Welfare, Journalism, Education, Industrial Relations, Law, Politics, Policy Studies, Economics, and Commerce.
Doshisha University has been keeping a very high employment rate, with both 98% of male and female undergraduate and graduate students successfully finding a job. More than 90% of all undergraduate students have answered in our survey that they are “very satisfied” or “satisfied” with their employers, and our graduates are evaluated highly by the employers as well.
