MITIS successfully holds its first CSO activity

Last August 21 (Sunday), MITIS students and faculty members joined the Fun Run organized by the Bukas Loob sa Diyos (BLD) Catholic Charismatic Covenant Community – San Pedro Cluster which served as the first Creative Social Outreach (CSO) activity for the tenth year anniversary of the school. Students from Grades 9 to 12 participated in 1K, 3K, and 6K running events which were held in South Spring Subdivision, Canlalay, Biñan, Laguna.

Proceeds collected from the event will be used to fund BLD’s projects which aim to promote Christian values to different communities.

Younbeom Lee, Grade 11 student, finished the 3K run with the shortest time and was awarded with prizes by the activity’s organizing committee.

CSO is a framework of experiential learning which aims to involve students in new roles so that they can develop into self-respecting and globally responsible individuals.
